VertexFX APIs
Get VertexFX API and develop your Plugins at Hybrid Solutions
What is API?
An application-programming interface (API) is a set of programming instructions and standards that allow access to a web-based software application, in this case – VertexFX.
At Hybrid Solutions we know there is continuous need for customers and system users to tailor the VertexFX system at the dealing room or trading ends. So we’ve released sophisticated APIs for different elements of our software. And our APIs are equipped with the same interface as most of the platform’s features which makes it easy to build a new custom application.
As developers know, API development is the fastest way to customize uniform applications.
Our APIs allow them to easily create plug-ins that offers VertexFX users more flexibility and system personalization.
For example,
VertexFX APIs include specifications for routines, data structures, object classes and protocols used to communicate between the consumer and VertexFX Trader. We have released APIs far all of:
- VertexFX Client.
- VertexFX Charts.
- VertexFX BackOffice.
- VertexFX Currency server.
- VertexFX Bridge.
- VertexFX SMS Central.
- VertexFX Smart Dealer (VertexFX BackOffice API).
- VertexFX Risk Management Bridges (VertexFX Client API + VertexFX BackOffice API).
Why use VertexFX APIs?
With VertexFX APIs you can create unique ideas and customize the platform to your exact needs. Think you need more from VertexFX Trader? Then build it using the appropriate API!
Our API usage is open and available to stimulate ideas as well as allowing you to build practical plug-ins. Here are some examples of what they could be used for:
- Perhaps you need to build a system that trades automatically with your market strategies and ideas. Use the VertexFX Client API to build it.
- Maybe you want to connect your system data to your existing accounting or GL system so you can manage your accounting with one application. Use the VertexFX Back Office API in conjunction with your accounting system’s API.
- Thinking of clearing (hedging) your positions with another market making or brokerage company? Use the VertexFX Bridge LP API
- Do you want to build your own distributable trading terminal that offers customised trading capabilities to your clients? Use the VertexFX client API.
- Maybe you have your own pricing feed, with prices that are applicable for your business, but which doesn’t support DDE connections. You can use the VertexFX Currency server API to connect it to the VertexFX System
- Want to build your own mobile market watch for your clients? Use the VertexFX Client API. The Client API allows you to build your own third party standalone application, which you can brand and sell separately.
VertexFX APIs open up new horizons and opportunities to customize the VertexFX platform to create your own tailor-made system.
