As we are eager to keep you updated on the status of our Lawsuit about a cloned software you may have observed, received an offer for, or interacted with, we would like to notify you that our lawsuit which is registered in Jordan under Amman Public Prosecutor ID Decision No.: 15004/2020 is proceeding extremely well. Our dedicated legal team is handling this appalling attack on our software in the best way possible. You can rest assured that our company embraces cybersecurity and hence, it will prevent such an occurrence from repeating and will come out of this situation even stronger.
They are prosecuted with the following offense:
• Violating the provisions of Article No. (sl/a/2) of the Copyright Protection Law related to offering to sell, circulate or lease an illegal product or a copy thereof or broadcast it to the public in any way whatsoever or use it to achieve any material interest or introduce it into or remove it from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, knowing that it is illegal or if there are sufficient reasons and evidence to be aware of it; in keeping with Article No. (3/B/8) of the same law.
This lawsuit is in its advanced stages, and Apple has already been notified, and they have warned this party to withdraw their apps or settle with Hybrid Solutions with case ID “APP140091”. As per Apple’s legal documents, “Apple works closely with the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) to combat software piracy worldwide.” (https://www.apple.com/legal/intellectual-property/piracy.html)
We would like to reiterate our warning against following any unlawful copy circulated in the market, whether cloned to VertexFX trader or distributed by former employees or using past applications used to be plugged into VertexFX trader, all of which are under legal obligations and will be taken down shortly.
