How to Place Trades in Vertex Mobile Trader
Trading in Vertex Mobile Trader is designed to be simple and easy. To trade, a user selects the asset he wants to trade, chooses the trade type, and sees the real time bid and ask prices. He enters the amount, then clicks Buy or Sell, and the trade is executed immediately.
For those who need faster execution the app also has a One-Click Trading feature. By enabling this in the settings, you can set a default trade amount and trade from the quotes screen without any additional confirmation steps. This is very useful for high speed trading where every second counts.
Besides market orders the trading app also supports pending orders where you can place buy or sell orders at specific price levels. You can choose from four types of pending orders: Buy Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Limit, Sell Stop. These orders allow you to enter the market at your preferred price points and the trade will be executed automatically when the conditions are met.
Tracking Open Positions and Orders
Once you place a trade, it will appear in the Trade Tab where you can see all open positions and pending orders. Each position will show symbol name, open price, current price, trade type and profit/loss status.
Closing a trade is also easy. By selecting an open position, you can close fully or partially. The app also supports hedging where you can hold buy and sell positions on the same symbol simultaneously. If you need to close offsetting positions together, you can use Close by Hedge.
If you need to modify your trades the app has a manage position feature where you can adjust stop loss and take profit. These tools help in risk management where trades will close automatically when they reach your desired profit or loss levels.
Advanced Charting and Technical Analysis
